About

I'm a PhD candidate in Space Systems Engineering (minor: Spacecraft Dynamics) at MIT's Astrodynamics, Space Robotics, and Controls Laboratory (ARCLab). My dissertation looks at how enterprise Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems encode complex satellite behaviors, and how the data standards those systems rely on shape that encoding in the first place.

Research

More broadly, I'm interested in applying compositional category theory to questions of semantic interoperability — designing a shared layer that lets different parts of the SDA enterprise communicate satellite behavior ontologies without losing meaning in translation.
